Andriana Ortiz is the founder and principal photographer of Emmages, a Philadelphia-based corporate and institutional event photography company serving organizations nationwide.

Before building Emmages, Andriana spent seven years in operations management, helping scale a beauty company to more than $15 million in annual revenue. That experience taught her to understand complex systems, anticipate needs, and recognize how people, priorities, and pressure move through an organization—skills that now shape how she photographs events.

Her assignments have included the Clinton Global Initiative, the International Congress of Mathematicians, AnitaB.org’s Grace Hopper Celebration, Apple at the SHPE National Convention, and U.S. District Court investitures. Through that work, she has photographed presidents, judges, elected officials, executives, researchers, and other leaders in environments where access, timing, and discretion matter.

Her photography is grounded in preparation, emotional intelligence, and respect for the room. The result is imagery that feels honest, composed, and useful—documenting not only what happened, but what gave the moment meaning.
